District 17 Update December 2009

KY 22 Update

Utility relocation is currently underway on the KY 22 Improvement Project.  Due to some higher priority projects, AT&T will be the last utility to relocate.  Depending on their schedule, the project will go out to bid sometime between March 2010 and July 2010.  Construction will begin two months after the project goes out to bid and will last approximately 14 months.  The project should be finished late in 2011.

LMPD Tips For The Holiday Season

A friendly reminder from the 8th Division that is especially relevant this time of year:

  • Always lock your vehicle and enable the alarm if installed.
  • Never leave your vehicle running unattended even for a brief moment.
  • Leave no valuables in sight.  This includes chargers and docking stations which serve as a sign that valuables are somewhere in the car.

You can report any suspicious person or activity by calling 574-2111.
